Calendered silicone cloth is a new type of high-performance, multi-purpose composite material made by calendering high-temperature resistant, anti-corrosive, and high-strength glass fiber cloth with silicone rubber.

    Based on the coating surface, silicone cloth comes in two types: single-sided silicone cloth and double-sided silicone cloth. In terms of application characteristics, single-sided and double-sided silicone cloth are generally similar. Single-sided silicone cloth is mainly used in specific environments where double-sided silicone is not required to save costs, such as in shoe materials or covering applications where only one side needs chemical corrosion resistance (e.g., sauna rooms). Based on the type of silicone, silicone cloth can be divided into room-temperature cured silicone cloth and high-temperature cured silicone cloth. The differences include: varying temperature resistance ranges, different curing strengths, different behaviors after burning (high-temperature cured silicone cloth produces no smoke or odor, extinguishes quickly, and leaves white ashes), and different service lives.

 II. Features:
1. Operates in temperatures ranging from -70°C to 230°C, with excellent thermal insulation properties.
2. Resistant to ozone, oxygen, light, and weather aging. Excellent weatherability for outdoor use, with a service life of up to 10 years.
3. High insulation performance, with a dielectric constant of 3-3.2 and a breakdown voltage of 20-50 KV/MM.
4. Good chemical corrosion resistance; oil-resistant, waterproof [washable].
5. High strength; both soft and flexible, can be cut and processed.

 III. Applications:

1. Electrical insulation: Silicone cloth has a high electrical insulation grade, can withstand high voltage loads, and can be made into insulating cloth, sleeves, and other products.

2. Non-metallic compensators: Silicone cloth can be used as a flexible connecting component for pipelines, addressing the damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction. It offers high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging properties, and excellent elasticity and flexibility, making it widely applicable in petroleum, chemical, cement, energy, and other fields.

3. Anti-corrosion applications: Can serve as an internal and external anti-corrosion layer for pipelines and storage tanks. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties and high strength, making it an ideal anti-corrosion material.

4. Other fields: Silicone rubber-coated glass fiber membrane materials can be used in construction sealing materials, as well as sealing materials in the food, packaging, printing, chemical, and rubber industries.
