Measurement Principle:

Electromagnetic flowmeters operate based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Specifically, when a conductive fluid moves through a magnetic field, cutting the magnetic lines of force, an induced electromotive force is generated perpendicular to both the flow velocity vector and the magnetic field vector. This induced electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate, and after processing and calculation, it is used to determine both instantaneous and cumulative flow rates.
