Ethylene propylene diene monomer waterproofing membrane, abbreviated as EPDM, is primarily composed of ethylene, propylene, and dicyclopentadiene or ethylidene norbornene as the three monomers copolymerized into ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber. It is blended with an appropriate amount of butyl rubber, softeners, reinforcing agents, fillers, accelerators, and vulcanizing agents. Through processes such as ingredient mixing, internal mixing, sheeting, filtering, heat refining, extrusion or calendering, vulcanization, inspection, rolling, and packaging, it is processed into a highly elastic, rollable waterproofing material.
