Product Introduction:

The Mold Test Pen is a mold testing tool used to collect samples from material surfaces to detect whether the product is contaminated with mold. In simple terms, it assesses the risk of material mold growth. When a large amount of mold contamination is anticipated, effective anti-mold treatments can be applied to reduce losses caused by mold.

Precautions:

The detection end of the Mold Test Pen must be moistened with uncontaminated pure water. Avoid contact with other surfaces before use. Although this product is environmentally friendly, some individuals may experience allergic reactions. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves and a mask during operation. If the skin accidentally comes into contact with the reagent, wash with soapy water.

Operation Method:

Open the Mold Test Pen and moisten the detection end with pure water. (Note: Ensure the detection end does not touch any other surfaces to avoid contamination, which could lead to inaccurate results.) Use the detection end to touch moldy items and collect mold spore samples.

Collect mold spores from multiple areas repeatedly. The chemical reaction takes effect within 2-5 minutes, after which observe the color change of the detection end. A light color indicates no mold growth; a slightly darker color suggests minor mold growth; a significantly darker color indicates substantial mold growth.

Working Principle of the Mold Test Pen:

Mold typically carries a negative charge and is attracted to positive charges. Based on this principle, the mold test solvent is positively charged, creating a "false positive" phenomenon by attracting mold. This triggers a chemical reaction that changes the solvent's color within 2-5 minutes, allowing users to determine mold presence based on the color change.

Applicable to all surfaces where samples can be collected. This testing method helps predict the risk of mold growth on materials and detect significant mold contamination early, enabling timely anti-mold measures to minimize losses caused by mold.
