WXZJ-CODcr Series COD Online Water Quality Analyzer

The WXZJ-CODcr online analyzer heats a mixture of water sample, potassium dichromate digestion solution, silver sulfate solution (added as a catalyst to more effectively oxidize straight-chain fatty compounds), and concentrated sulfuric acid to 175°C. After the dichromate ions oxidize the organic matter in the solution, the color changes. The analyzer detects this color change, converts it into a COD value, and outputs the result. The amount of dichromate ions consumed is equivalent to the amount of oxidizable organic matter.
