Working Principle: The air flotation water purification method involves dissolving a large amount of gas into water under high pressure to form a working liquid. When the pressure is suddenly reduced, countless micro-bubbles are released and adhere to impurities in the water after mixing and reaction. This causes the flocs to have a specific gravity of less than 1, allowing them to float on the liquid surface and form a foam (i.e., a three-phase mixture of gas, water, and particles). As a result, pollutants are separated from the wastewater, achieving purification. Wastewater mixed with coagulant and the high-pressure aerated water from the dissolved air tank simultaneously undergo reaction and coagulation in the air flotation tank. The process of transforming raw colloids into flocs constitutes the operational mechanism of the equipment. The entire reaction principle involves chemical diffusion, coagulation hydrolysis, destabilization of impurity colloids, aggregation of colloids, and collision of micro-flocs, enabling colloidal particles to aggregate from 0.001 μm to 2 mm flocs that rapidly float to the surface. Sediments are periodically scraped and discharged by a scum scraper, while the treated water after reaction and flotation is automatically discharged from the collection trough.
