Silica Fume

Silica fume is a fine powder processed through multiple procedures including strict ore selection, cleaning, grinding, flotation, purification, high-purity water treatment, and special drying of natural transparent non-metallic minerals. Anhydrous silica fume is a non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free inorganic non-metallic material. Due to its excellent properties such as high transparency, good temperature resistance, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, high insulation, low expansion, stable chemical performance, and high hardness, it has begun to be widely used in various plastic fields. Silica fume is an advanced powder material with properties such as good temperature resistance, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, poor thermal conductivity, high insulation, low expansion, stable chemical performance, and high hardness. It is widely used in coatings (transparent paint, PE, PO transparent primer), ink topcoat, printing paste, transparent masterbatch, rubber and plastic, transparent silicone, transparent glass adhesive, and other industries.

Silica Fume Characteristics

Significantly improves the hardness, wear resistance, weather resistance, insulation, and flame retardancy of coatings (transparent paint, PE, PO transparent primer), ink topcoat, printing paste, transparent masterbatch, rubber and plastic, transparent silicone, transparent glass adhesive, and other industries. With appropriate addition, it does not affect the transparency of the film.

Especially suitable for transparent plastic categories: LLDPE, PP, PVC, and TPR. Also applicable to: PA, ABS, PC, and PS, among others.
