Project Overview:

Currently, wet desulfurization processes are widely used for coke oven flue gas desulfurization in China. This process can reduce the flue gas temperature to around 55°C. At this temperature, when the flue gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere and encounters cold air, it condenses into water droplets. Under sunlight refraction, this forms "white smoke plumes," causing certain visual pollution to surrounding residents.

Working Principle:

The flue gas from the waste heat boiler first passes through a flue gas cooler, where its heat is transferred to the circulating water. The circulating water then passes through a flue gas heater at the end to heat the flue gas entering the chimney to a certain temperature. Additionally, a condenser is installed after the flue gas exits the desulfurization tower to remove part of the moisture from the flue gas, thereby completing the white smoke elimination retrofit.
