◇ Probe Cleaning: Use the provided protective cover to prevent dust, moisture, and grease from clogging the probe. Do not use the instrument without the protective cover. Before each use, inspect the probe and protective cover to ensure they are free of dust or grease.
1. Pull down the protective cover.
2. Clean the protective cover with an industrial towel or compressed air.
3. If the probe itself is dirty, immerse it in a mild cleaning agent such as alcohol for a few seconds, then clean it with compressed air or an industrial towel. Never use solvents like gasoline, turpentine, or mineral oil, as they can leave residues on the probe and reduce the instrument's sensitivity. Probe Replacement: The probe will eventually fail and need replacement. Since the probe's lifespan is directly related to usage conditions and frequency, it is difficult to predict the exact replacement time. Replace the probe when it alarms or becomes unstable in clean, pure air.
