GB/T 984 EDCr-B-15
Suitable for hardfacing of carbon steel or low-alloy steel shafts, valve components for superheated steam, mixer paddles, screw conveyor blades, etc.
A 2Cr13 type valve hardfacing electrode with a low-hydrogen sodium coating. The deposited metal is 2Cr13 martensitic high-chromium steel. The hardfacing layer has air-hardening properties and generally does not require heat treatment. It has uniform hardness, can be annealed and softened at 750–800°C, and can be rehardened by air cooling or oil quenching when heated to 950–1000°C.

1. Drying requirement: Electrodes must be baked at 300°C for 1 hour before use and used while still warm.
2. Preheat hardfacing components to above 300°C. Different heat treatments after welding can achieve corresponding hardness levels.
