Dehydration screens are primarily used for dewatering, desliming, and demediation of materials. They can be applied in sand and gravel plants for sand washing, coal preparation plants for coal slurry recovery, and mineral processing plants for tailings dry discharge. Hence, they are also referred to as sand dewatering screens, mining dewatering screens, coal slurry dewatering screens, and tailings dewatering screens. The main components include the screen box, vibrator, support system, and motor. They are driven by dual vibration motors or vibrators (two standard motors rotating in opposite directions for self-synchronization), causing the screen body to perform periodic reciprocating linear motion to achieve grading and dewatering purposes.

1. The screen machine is installed horizontally overall, but the screen mesh must be installed at a negative angle to ensure forced dewatering effects;
2. The dewatering screen offers multiple types of screen meshes for customer selection to meet various needs;
3. The vibration frequency of the dewatering screen can be adjusted at any time via a frequency converter to achieve ideal dewatering results;
4. The dewatering screen uses self-synchronizing liquid-lubricated vibrators for excitation. The screen frame is made of special noise-reducing materials and connected with high-strength bolts to ensure reliable operation and reduced noise ;

5. The feed section of the dewatering screen is equipped with a curved screen surface to improve dewatering efficiency; a feed box is provided to ensure uniform material distribution on the screen surface.

Depending on the application, dewatering screens are categorized into the following types:

1. Coal Slurry Dewatering Screen: Specifically designed for desliming, demediation, and dewatering in coal preparation plants. It can recover coal slurry with a particle size of <9mm and is widely used for coal slurry recovery, pressure filtration coarse separation, filtration coarse separation, and dewatering and recovery of other fine materials.

2. Sand and Gravel Dewatering Screen: Its main function is sand washing. It is commonly used in wet sand production lines alongside sand washers or can operate independently. After washing by the sand washer, the sand and gravel undergo hydraulic grading, desliming, and fine sand recovery via the dewatering screen to achieve reasonable particle size distribution and reduce the mud content to below 0.7%.

3. High-Frequency Dewatering Screen: A screening device that enables environmentally friendly utilization of waste materials. It offers high processing capacity and excellent dewatering effects, making it suitable for high-frequency, high-vibration intensity material dewatering and screening.

4. Tailings Dewatering Screen: Widely used for tailings dry discharge and tailings dewatering. It is particularly suitable for processing fine-grained minerals, automatic slag-water separation, tailings dry discharge technology, and can be combined with cyclones as tailings dry discharge recovery machines, offering high dewatering efficiency.

Selection Guidelines:
1. Dewatering vibration screens are available in single-layer and double-layer configurations, with left or right installation options.
2. Screen meshes include wedge wire screens, perforated screen plates, woven screens, polyurethane screen plates, etc., and can be designed according to usage requirements.
3. To meet screening efficiency requirements, the screen surface may be installed at an inclination of 2–10 degrees to the horizontal if necessary. Orders must specify the screen structure (woven, perforated, wedge wire, polyurethane, etc.), mesh size, processing capacity, and material feed particle size.
