Glycerol triacetate is non-toxic and non-irritating.According to China's GB 2760-96 regulations,it is approved for use in industries such asfragrances,cigarette filter tip plasticizers,food, soap, candles, adhesives,propellants, leather tanning,dye solvents,andplasticizers.

Physicochemicalindicators:

Solubility:Slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, chloroform, and castor oil; insoluble in linseed oil; capable of dissolving nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, acrylic resin, polyvinyl acetate, etc.; partially soluble in natural rosin; insoluble in polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, and chlorinated rubber.Applications:

1.Cigarette filter tip plasticizer: Used as a plasticizer for cellulose acetate in cigarette filters, providing good elasticity, breathability, and appropriate hardness.

2.Printing and dyeing industry: Plasticizer and solvent for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose, and cellulose acetate butyrate.

3.Fragrance and flavor: Fixative and lubricating base for cosmetic and edible flavors; can be used as a solvent.

4.Plastics industry: Used as a solvent for celluloid, photographic film, preservatives, etc.

5.Foundry industry: Organic ester curing agent, curing accelerator for phenolic resin adhesives.

6.Water-based adhesives: Used as a plasticizer in combination with low-volatility plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate and dibutyl sebacate.

7.Food additive: Stabilizer in baked goods, food additive in candies, butter, beverages, etc., plasticizer for chewing gum base.

8.Gas chromatography stationary phase: (Maximum operating temperature 85°C, solvents: methanol, chloroform) for separation and analysis of gases and aldehydes.

9.Pharmaceuticals (antifungal agent) and capsules (plasticizer): Used as a solvent and carrier in the pharmaceutical industry.

10.Cosmetics (moisturizer) and nail polish (plasticizer).

11.Additive for animal feed.

12.Dairy emulsifier.

13.Pesticide excipient.
