Chaozhou Summer Tea is a well-known edible tea used for summer heat relief and health preservation in Chaozhou for over a century. It is highly popular among the older generation of Chaozhou people and overseas Chaozhou communities, and has become a premium "souvenir" exchanged among Chaozhou natives and even overseas Chinese. 
    For decades, due to various reasons, Chaozhou Summer Tea has not received much attention from the medical field. Coupled with the influx of external tea blends and "foreign beverages" into Chaozhou's drink market, Chaozhou Summer Tea was nearly lost. In recent years, the municipal government has emphasized the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage. As one of the inheritors of Chaozhou Summer Tea's "intangible cultural heritage," I have participated in the application process for this project and have gathered all necessary materials, which have been approved by the Chaozhou government. To accelerate the application for this intangible cultural heritage project and make it a summer heat-relief beverage serving the people of Chaozhou and overseas Chaozhou compatriots, we have jointly launched a new generation of Chaozhou Summer Tea in collaboration with Chaozhou Zerun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
    Chaozhou Summer Tea uses traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients that are both food and medicine as its main components. It follows the ancient formula and processing techniques of Chaozhou Summer Tea, employs modern extraction technologies in compliance with GMP standards, and adheres to strict quality control during production. This ensures the product's excellent quality, preserving its traditional characteristics while incorporating modern formulations. It represents a perfect blend of traditional culture and modern technology, making it an essential beverage for relieving summer heat and a unique, high-quality souvenir with distinct Chaozhou characteristics.
