ZX-518 Chromium-Free Passivation Agent for Aluminum

This product is scientifically formulated with surfactants, chelating agents, polymeric organic acids, passivation catalysts, and other active ingredients. It rapidly forms a fine, colorless film on the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloy workpieces. The film offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for passivating various types of aluminum and aluminum alloys in their natural color. Product Features: 1. Processing method: Immersion Operating Process: Degreasing - Water rinse - Water rinse - Pure water rinse - Chromium-free passivation - Drying Performance Characteristics: 1. Consumption: Approximately 2-3 kg of concentrate per ton of profile. 2. Long bath life; using pure water for bath preparation can process over 3000 tons of profiles without flocculation. 3. The film exhibits ultra-strong adhesion, with no peeling in cross-cut test after 2 hours of high-pressure boiling water, and CASS salt spray resistance exceeding 500 hours. Bath Maintenance: 1. Use pure water for bath preparation. 2. White ash formation on aluminum surface after passivation is mainly due to low concentration; adjust the solution concentration and processing time immediately. 3. It is recommended to use water with low hardness or deionized water. If water hardness is too high, it must be reduced; otherwise, the solution may become cloudy. 4. Maintain the working solution pH between 2.5~3.5. Stir well and measure every two hours. When the bath pH approaches 3.5, add the original solution. Precautions: 1. Ensure the aluminum surface is thoroughly cleaned of oil before using this product. 2. After degreasing, aluminum must be fully rinsed to avoid introducing acid into the passivation bath.
