1. Main Characteristics

- Hydrolysis generates various high-valent polymeric cations that can neutralize the negative charges of colloidal particles in water, forming flocculent precipitates (flocs), and rapidly adsorb suspended solids and colloids.

- Capable of removing phosphorus, heavy metals (such as arsenic, lead), organic matter, and color from water, with significant removal effects on COD and BOD.

2. Application Fields

2.1. Sewage Treatment:

- Industrial Wastewater: Treating electroplating, printing, dyeing, and papermaking wastewater (e.g., decolorization, heavy metal removal).

- Municipal Sewage: Phosphorus removal and turbidity reduction.

2.2. Drinking Water Purification:

- When meeting standards, it can be used as a coagulant for drinking water, but residual iron content must be controlled (≤0.3 mg/L).

2.3. Sludge Dewatering:

- Used as a conditioning agent to improve the filterability of sludge.
