The ZPNL type is a vertical single-stage single-suction immersed slurry pump, which is an improved product based on the original PNL type pump structure. It is widely used in concentrators, power plants, municipal engineering, construction sites, ground drilling, and other fields to transport mixed liquids containing suspended solid particles, such as concentrates, tailings, ash slag, coal slurry, gravel, slurry pumps, etc. The weight percentage concentration of the transported slurry can reach about 50-60%.

The ZPNL vertical slurry pump head has a single-layer structure, with the pump body and guard plate forming the pump chamber. It features a cylindrical integral bearing housing, with single-row radial ball bearings installed at the upper and lower ends of the bearing housing. The pump body is connected to the lower end of the bearing housing via a bracket, and the upper end of the bearing housing is connected to the motor base. For pumps with a head below 40 meters, the impeller is an open impeller with no shaft seal. When viewed from the drive end toward the pump head, the impeller rotates clockwise. For pumps with a head equal to or above 40 meters, the impeller is a closed impeller with a packing shaft seal. When viewed from the drive end toward the pump head, the impeller rotates clockwise.

The pump chamber of the ZPNL vertical slurry pump should be fully immersed in the slurry. However, the bearing position at the lower end of the bearing housing must not be immersed in the slurry and should be kept at least 150mm above the liquid level. For pumps equipped with packing, the packing should be appropriately tightened.
