Swing check valves, also known as one-way valves or non-return valves, are used to prevent the backflow of media in pipelines. The opening and closing components automatically open or close based on the flow and force of the medium to prevent backflow. Check valves belong to the category of automatic valves and are mainly used in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction, allowing the medium to flow only in one direction to prevent accidents. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines.

The disc of a swing check valve is disc-shaped and rotates around the axis of the valve seat channel. Due to the streamlined internal channel, the flow resistance is lower than that of lift check valves, making it suitable for large-diameter applications with low flow rates and infrequent changes in flow. However, it is not suitable for pulsating flow, and its sealing performance is inferior to that of lift check valves. Swing check valves are divided into single-disc, double-disc, and multi-disc types, primarily categorized based on valve caliber to reduce hydraulic impact when the medium stops flowing or backflows.

Swing check valves adopt an internally mounted rocker arm swing structure, with all opening and closing components installed inside the valve body. Except for the sealing gaskets and sealing rings at the middle flange, there are no external leakage points, reducing the possibility of valve leakage. The connection between the rocker arm and the disc uses a spherical structure, allowing the disc to have a certain degree of freedom within a 360-degree range and providing appropriate micro-position compensation.

Suitable for clean media, not suitable for media containing solid particles or with high viscosity.
