Zhejiang Association of Security Technology and Protection (hereinafter referred to as "the Association"), with the full English name: ZHEJIANG ASSOCIATION SECURITY TECHNOLOGY & PROTECTION, and the English abbreviation ZJASTP, was established in Hangzhou on February 28, 2003.

The Association is a local, industry-specific, non-profit social organization voluntarily established by enterprises, institutions, social groups, and individuals engaged in the security technology and protection industry in accordance with the law. It is currently a 4A-level social organization in China.

The registration authority of the Association is the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Party-building leadership body is the Comprehensive Committee of Social Organizations of the Communist Party of China Zhejiang Province, and the business guidance department is the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department.

I. Mission of the Association

Guided by the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the Association consistently adheres to the principle of "Unity, Service, Pragmatism, and Innovation." It strives to lead the way, work solidly, and courageously stand at the forefront, dedicating itself to serving its member units, promoting the high-quality development of the security industry, and contributing to the construction of a higher-level "Safe China."

II. Membership of the Association

The Association consists of institutional members, with 1,508 registered member units currently spread across all 11 cities in Zhejiang Province and radiating nationwide. Among them, 46 are listed companies, and 230 are enterprises with annual revenues exceeding 100 million yuan.

III. Scope of Business

Upholding the philosophy of "Technology-Driven, Innovative Services," the Association collaborates with universities, research institutes, professional third-party institutions, and other specialized resources to initiate the establishment of the "Zhejiang Emergency Industry Technology Alliance," "Zhejiang UAV Industry Technology Alliance," and "National Security Vocational Education Alliance." It also builds a "Digital Security Innovation Service Complex," leveraging technology and think tanks, industrial innovation collaboration centers, talent training bases, the Digital Security Ecosystem Conference, and comprehensive services to further enhance its capabilities in serving enterprises, the industry, society, and the nation.
