I. Overview

The JN15-12 indoor high-voltage grounding switch is a product developed with advanced technology by integrating domestic and international grounding switch technologies. After comprehensive testing, its performance meets the requirements of GB1985-89 "AC High-Voltage Disconnectors and Grounding Switches" and IEC129. It is suitable for use in 12 kV and below AC 50Hz power systems, and can be matched with various types of high-voltage switchgear for grounding protection.

It features advanced design and reliable technical performance; simple structure and easy installation; and has rapid opening and closing capabilities.

II. Main Structure

The grounding switch consists of a bracket, grounding blade assembly, stationary contact, sensor, shaft, crank arm, compression spring, conductive bushing, and flexible connection. Note: The bracket is a component formed by bending and welding thin steel plates, while the rest are assembled parts.

III. Working Principle

When the operating mechanism is activated to close the grounding switch, a torque is applied to the main shaft to overcome the resistance torque, driving the crank arm to rotate in the closing direction. The operating rod on the grounding blade passes through the dead point of the compression spring, releasing the spring's energy and enabling the grounding switch to close rapidly into the closed position. At this position, the grounding blade on the grounding blade assembly makes firm and reliable contact with the flange (blade contact) of the stationary contact through a disc spring.

During the opening operation, the applied torque causes the main shaft to overcome the main torque and spring force, driving the crank arm to rotate in the opening direction. The grounding blade compression spring passes through the dead point, completing energy storage for the next closing operation.

The closing speed of the grounding switch is independent of the operator's speed.
