PDS is a trade name for a desulfurization catalyst (P, multifunctional; D, two phthalocyanine rings; S, sulfonate;), which belongs to the cobalt phthalocyanine sulfonate series. Its main component is dinuclear cobalt phthalocyanine sulfonate. It possesses certain catalytic activity and high efficiency in removing hydrogen sulfide, with an average desulfurization rate exceeding 98% in applications such as coke oven gas, semi-water gas, and shift converters. Simultaneously, it converts highly toxic hydrogen cyanide in the process into non-toxic ammonium salts, transforming toxicity into non-toxicity, and the foam is easily separable. It is chemically stable, non-flammable, non-explosive, and non-corrosive, making it suitable for all liquid-phase catalytic desulfurization equipment. It is widely used for desulfurization of sulfur-containing gases such as coke oven gas, semi-water gas, natural gas, city gas, and liquefied petroleum gas.

       The PDS-600 model is primarily based on the patented product researched and invented by Professor Yang Shuqing of Northeast Normal University, with patent number: ZL851089321.1. It has received the National Invention Third Prize, the Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Progress First Prize, the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Third Prize, and the Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

       After further in-depth research, the catalytic activity of this catalyst has doubled compared to the original PDS, and its selectivity has significantly improved. It is widely used in nitrogen fertilizer plants, coking plants, gas plants, and natural gas plants. Years of user experience have demonstrated the following characteristics:
