Yamaichi Chemical (YAMAICHI) Rust Inhibitor BARRIER GUARD PART II  Anti-Rust Agent

This rust inhibitor completely avoids the use of oil or wax. BARRIER GUARD PART II is the only liquid volatile rust inhibitor that protects metal surfaces through the complementary effects of rust-preventive film-forming components and rust-inhibiting gases.

Features:

1. Excellent heat resistance, providing rust prevention regardless of mold temperature (up to approximately 130°C).

2. High safety, containing no nitrites or nitrates such as dicyclohexylammonium nitrite, with almost no toxicity.

3. Significantly reduces mold preparation time. After 3 injections (colorless) or 7 pre-injections (colored), the rust inhibitor completely volatilizes. It does not seep out from ejector pins or slider parts, preventing oil contamination on molded products.

4. Shortens secondary processing time. Painting, printing, bonding, and other secondary processing can be performed from the first or second injection after mold clamping.

5. No impact on plastics. Even if BarrierGuard adheres to the product, the effect is minimal, with no concerns regarding dissolution or cracking.

6. Does not clog air vents. Effective even on textured or mirror-finished molds without requiring cleaning. From the first injection after mold clamping, it prevents oil contamination even in injection molding molds.
