Weather Resistance

One side of the PC sunlight panel is coated with a UV co-extrusion layer, up to 50 microns thick, which blocks ultraviolet rays, providing excellent weather resistance. During installation, this side must face the sun.

Excellent Energy Efficiency

The hollow structure of PC sunlight panels traps air between layers, offering thermal insulation—keeping cool in summer and warm in winter.

Lightweight

PC sunlight panels weigh only about 1/15 of glass of the same thickness, reducing costs for transportation, handling, installation, and support structures.

Easy Installation

They can be easily cut on-site with conventional tools and cold-bent into small radii without pre-bending (bending radius is 175 times the panel thickness). Cutting, sawing, and drilling do not cause breakage or damage, minimizing material waste.

Flame Retardant

PC sunlight panels have a self-ignition point of 580°C and are self-extinguishing after removal from fire. They do not produce toxic gases when burning and do not promote flame spread. According to the national standard GB8624-2006, they are classified as flame-retardant grade B.

Impact Resistance

PC sunlight panels have excellent impact resistance, with an impact strength 80 times that of ordinary glass and 14 times that of acrylic sheets of the same thickness.

Sound Insulation

PC sunlight panels provide significant sound insulation, offering better acoustic insulation than glass or acrylic sheets of the same thickness. They are ideal materials for highway sound barriers internationally. For example, a 10mm PC sunlight panel can achieve sound insulation of up to 19dB.

Adaptability to Large Temperature Differences

PC sunlight panels do not become brittle at -40°C and do not soften at 120°C. Their mechanical properties remain stable even in harsh environments.
