KZB-3 Over-temperature Protection Device Requires Manual Reset After Failure

When the air compressor fails, it will stop working. It is necessary to wait for technical personnel to inspect, repair, and debug it. Only after the fault is eliminated can the protection device resume normal operation.
After the technical personnel confirm that the on-site equipment is fault-free (first turn on the protection device, then start the equipment), the machine can be restarted to prevent frequent starts and stops of the air compressor caused by temperature deviations in the air receiver (air tank).
Air Compressor Alarm Function
When the air receiver exceeds 120°C (the upper temperature limit can be finely adjusted), the over-temperature protection device of the air compressor's air receiver can alarm and shut down the machine.
Air Compressor Shutdown Function

In the event of over-temperature in the air compressor's air receiver, the air compressor can automatically shut down.Over-temperature Protection Device Function Configuration:

1. Digital display of one temperature measurement value: This device can digitally display the temperature of the air receiver (air tank).

2. Over-temperature alarm function: When the measured temperature of the air receiver (air tank) exceeds the set temperature (factory setting: 120°C), the corresponding output alarm indicator light turns on. When the alarm indicator light is on, the alarm outputs a high-intensity alarm signal.

3. After the horn alarm and protection control output, the protection relay in the device outputs a signal to control the air compressor shutdown.

4. Offline function during debugging; protection temperature can be set independently.

Operation and Debugging

1. Power On

Turn on the main power supply. The temperature display window on the front panel should normally display the corresponding status.

2. Display and Debugging Instructions

⑴ Correctly install the temperature sensors at the corresponding measurement points. The digital display window will show the correct temperature value.

⑵ When the temperature indication window exceeds 120°C (factory setting), it indicates that the corresponding measurement point is over-temperature, and the horn will sound an alarm. The red light labeled "ALM" on the temperature control panel will illuminate; it remains off under normal conditions.

3. Reset Function

After the over-temperature protection of the air tank is triggered and the fault is eliminated, the air compressor operator must confirm that the fault is resolved and the site is safe before restarting the machine. This prevents frequent starts and stops of the air compressor due to temperature deviations in the air receiver (air tank).

4. Air Compressor Alarm Function

When the air receiver exceeds 120°C, the over-temperature protection device of the air receiver will alarm and shut down the machine.

5. Air Compressor Shutdown Function

In the event of over-temperature in the air receiver (air tank), this protection device will automatically stop the air compressor.

6. This protection device can achieve the function of one protector controlling one air compressor (Note: Handle according to the on-site situation).
