This pressure relief valve is installed in the air compressor system on the air tank outlet pipeline directly facing the airflow direction. When the air compressor system is operating normally, the system pressure is ≤0.785MPa (8kgf/cm2). Under this pressure, the pressure relief valve functions normally. When the air tank ignites due to carbon buildup or the gas inside the tank becomes dangerous for some reason, the temperature and pressure in the system instantly rise. When the pressure reaches 1.04±0.059MPa (10.6±0.6kgf/cm2), the pull rod immediately breaks, the pressure relief valve releases pressure, and the high-temperature, high-pressure gas in the air tank and pipeline is rapidly released, thereby mitigating shock waves and preventing major accidents.
