The polyamine DDM product is a mixture containing approximately 75% 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and about 25% polyphenyl polymethylene polyamine. It is a light yellow solid at room temperature and is mainly used to prepare curing agents for epoxy resins. The structural formula of its main component is:

　　Storage precautions:

During storage, the warehouse should be dry, ventilated, and protected from light. It is strictly prohibited to expose the product to heat to prevent oxidation. During transportation, avoid breakage, leakage, exposure to sunlight, and rain.

 

　　Shelf life:

Under specified storage conditions, the shelf life is 6 months. If the product exceeds the shelf life but still meets the technical specifications after inspection, it can still be used.

 

　　DDM safety precautions:

DDM has low toxicity in terms of respiratory inhalation and skin absorption. Its low volatility means that short-term exposure under normal conditions (e.g., minor leaks or spills) poses minimal harm. However, as DDM is an aromatic amine compound, it still has certain toxicity and may cause mild skin irritation and allergies. Handle with care to prevent direct skin contact and splashing into the eyes. Wear necessary protective equipment (gloves, goggles, work clothes, etc.). If it comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and wash the skin with soapy water.
