Usage and Dosage:
In papermaking and dyeing processes, it is generally added at 0.1-0.8% of the weight of the material to be brightened.
Applications and Features:
Optical Brightener 134#, due to its good acid resistance, has broader adaptability in application compared to VBL and BA brighteners. It can brighten cotton fibers, silk fabrics, animal fibers, and polyamide fibers in acidic media (acid resistance ≥ pH 3). Especially on wool and rabbit hair, it has excellent brightening effects and can be compared with other foreign counterparts. It can be used in the same bath with peroxide or reducing agent bleaching liquors and also has good brightening effects on viscose fibers, nylon, paper, and laundry detergents. Its color shade appears as a soft, smooth creamy white, reflecting weak fluorescence under UV light, with fluorescence emission approximately 50% compared to other fluorescent brighteners.
