Thread inserts without a tang, also known as tangless thread inserts, are a special type of wire thread inserts. Tangless thread inserts have a fishhook-like locking groove—"reverse barb groove"—on both ends. During installation, specialized installation tools are used, and there is no need to distinguish the direction of the insert, allowing for direct installation. This feature is unmatched by traditional tang-type inserts, significantly improving work efficiency.

Since tangless thread inserts do not have an installation tang, the step of removing the tang is eliminated, further enhancing work efficiency and completely avoiding various issues caused by tang removal.
