The CAP3024-21113 Intelligent Oil Level Gauge is specifically designed and manufactured for oil level and oil-water interface measurement applications in industrial environments where the composition of the gas (vapor) phase medium is relatively stable.
By leveraging the relationship between changes in oil level and oil-water interface and the resulting capacitance changes on the measuring probe, the detected capacitance changes are processed through dedicated system software after temperature drift compensation of the measurement system and compensation for changes in the dielectric constant of the liquid-phase media. This outputs a two-wire 4–20 mA analog current loop proportional to the oil level change and four sets of SPST (NO) solid-state relay contacts corresponding to the oil-water interface change.
