I: Purpose

        Single-sided iron-free manual veneer adhesive is a type of adhesive mainly used for bonding curved and flat surfaces. It can be applied in processes such as bonding engineered wood veneer and natural thin wood veneer.

II: Features

1. This adhesive is a special water-based polyvinyl acetate bonding agent.

2. Single-component, high solid content, fast-drying, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and harmless.

3. High final strength, good solvent resistance, and heat resistance.

4. Single-sided application features low glue consumption, iron-free bonding, simple operation (no pressure required), labor-saving (time-saving), and high production efficiency.

5. No bubbling when painting.

IV: Usage Method

1. Moisten the wood veneer by sprinkling water half an hour in advance and place it in a cool area.

2. Apply adhesive to the substrate using a toothed spreader for single-sided application. The glue spread should be 120-140 g/m2.

3. Cover the substrate with the wood veneer and use a wooden block to evenly press and smooth the surface back and forth.

4. Trim the edges using a sanding block to remove excess veneer and achieve a smooth finish.

V: Precautions

1. The substrate must be flat. Defects should be filled with putty (putty can be made by mixing this adhesive with talcum powder; do not use wood dust with 502 adhesive for filling as it does not absorb glue).

2. The thickness of the wood veneer should be controlled within 0.4 mm. The veneer does not require anti-cracking treatment but must be flat, free of dust and cracks, and moistened with water.

3. Glue application tool selection: A toothed spreader is recommended due to the high viscosity of this adhesive.

4. Single-sided glue application: The glue spread should be approximately 120-140 g/m2.
