This product is white block and powder, allowing light yellow or light pink, odorless, slightly sweet after turning spicy, no change in the air, can be sublimated under 76°C under normal pressure, atmospheric pressure heating easy decarboxylation into phenol and carbon dioxide, in which the aqueous solution is acidic reaction, and FeCl3 is purple, this product is slightly soluble in water, soluble in boiling water, soluble in ethanol or ether, slightly soluble in chloroform.
