Changzhou Hengda Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2007, formerly known as Taixing Xinri Chemical Co., Ltd. In 2009, the company relocated back to Changzhou. In March 2014, it was restructured into Changzhou Hengda Biotechnology Co., Ltd. As a technology-centric and innovation-driven high-tech enterprise, the company focuses on the research, development, and production of pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediates, as well as fine chemical products. It integrates biotechnology and innovative drug research, serving global biopharmaceutical and chemical enterprises.

In August 2015, the company invested in establishing a comprehensive testing center based on protein detection technology—Suzhou Longlin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. In September 2015, it invested in its own production facility in Yancheng. In November 2015, it invested in setting up a technology-focused company specializing in pharmaceutical research—Nanjing Ruosai Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. In December 2016, the company invested in establishing a factory in Chizhou, Anhui Province. The company covers an area of approximately 50,000 m2, with the production base occupying about 40,000 m2. Currently, it employs 150 staff, including 20 management personnel and over 50 technical professionals. Among the technical staff, 42 hold bachelor's degrees or higher, including 4 PhDs (one professor and doctoral supervisor, and one foreign PhD) and 5 master's degrees (including one MBA).

Since its establishment, the company has adhered to a market-driven and policy-guided approach, leveraging its technical strengths to focus on product development and investment. It has continuously enriched its product portfolio, forming a product system primarily based on aldehydes, esters, and heterocyclic compounds. The company has developed technical expertise in fine synthesis processes such as nitrification, oxidation, and heterocyclic synthesis, with a focus on tower separation. It provides fine chemical products ranging from gram to ton scales. Emphasizing intellectual property, the company holds patents for multiple products, fully protecting its R&D achievements and ensuring better service for customers.
