Nantong Baisheng Chemical Co., Ltd. (Nantong Laijiali Chemical Co., Ltd.), established in 1998, is a Sino-American joint venture. It has grown into a comprehensive chemical company specializing in the production of naphthalene series products, flame retardant series, and other product lines. The company primarily manufactures five major series: pharmaceutical intermediates, dye intermediates, fabric finishing agents, flame retardants, and photosensitive materials, totaling over forty products. These products are exported and sold worldwide.

The pharmaceutical intermediate 7-Methoxy-2-tetralone produced by the company is recognized as a national high-tech product. With an annual production capacity of 2,000 tons for bisphenol S, which is used in coatings, leather modifiers, plastic flame retardants, and dye intermediates, the company is one of the leading domestic manufacturers.
