Shanghai VastPro Technology Development Co., Ltd. (VastPro Tech) was co-founded by Shanghai Bofeng Group Co., Ltd., Sinotherapeutics Inc., and Shanghai Charna Towa Chemical Limited in 2015. VastPro Tech is an enterprise dedicated to the development of green synthesis technology, and the manufacture of environment-friendly chemical products. The company is located in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park (Pudong, Shanghai).
Shanghai VastPro Technology Development Co., Ltd. (VastPro Tech) is a company established by the major synthetic team members of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Green Chemistry. SERCGC is a R&D center founded by Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), which was affirmed and entitled by Shanghai Municipal Government from 2008. Green synthesis technology innovation and green process research & development are the core competitiveness of VastPro Tech. Our development goal is "to synthesize molecules those do things, be the global leader of green synthesis technology and green manufacture business". According to the R&D priorities of VastPro Tech, and the dominant directions of close collaborators from SIOC, SIMM, SARI (CAS), we dedicated to the development of green synthesis technology and the manufacture of high-end drug products, advanced materials, value-added specialty chemicals and fine chemicals.
We are currently work on high-end pharmaceuticals, including: 1) designated orphan drugs, 2) steroidal related drugs, 3) anti-tumor small molecule drugs, 4) stomach medicine, 5) eye medications, and 6) efficient medicinal molecules extracted from traditional Chinese medicine, etc. For materials business, VastPro Tech is focused on high performance photoelectric materials, photovoltaic materials, and novel medical materials. Our R&D target for fine chemicals goes to specific spices and additives. Flow chemistry, the continuous flow reaction techniques and equipment's application in chemical production, is one powerful tool in our technical arsenal. Shanghai VastPro has 1500-square-meter laboratories with full integrated analysis facility run by talented supporting staff. In the initial stage, as asset-light company with focus on development of green synthesis technology, VastPro Tech employs various strategies for business development, such as 1) production technology package-selling, 2) cooperated manufacture based on technology package as investment and shares, 3) risk-shared joint R&D and production, 4) value-added high-end products' Kilogram-scale manufacture, etc. The company has built up a c-GMP standard kilo-lab, and is working with third parties to build c-GMP standard production workshop and plant around Yangtze River Delta region.
