The HS500 High-Speed Grinder is suitable for soft, brittle, medium-hard, and fibrous samples. Operating Principle

Samples enter through the feed inlet and fall onto the rotating blades via an anti-splash funnel. Due to centrifugal acceleration, the samples move outward toward the blade wings. The high rotational speed creates cutting and grinding effects through impact, followed by secondary shearing and friction between the blades and the sieve ring. Particles smaller than the sieve aperture finally enter the ring-shaped collection tray.

This two-stage grinding process ensures gentle and rapid sample preparation. Samples remain in the grinding chamber for only a short time, preserving their original characteristics without alteration.
