1. Scope of Application

Explosion-proof analysis shelters are used in oil refining, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and light industries to provide on-site safe installation space and protection for various process gas online analyzers and online water quality analyzers.

2. Shelter Dimensions

Customized according to user requirements. Generally expressed as external dimensions: 3000mm (length) × 3000mm (width) × 3000mm (height).

The shelter is a non-standard product, and its size can be determined based on the number and type of analyzers, system complexity, and operational maintenance space, with appropriate allowance. Due to long-distance transportation constraints, the external dimensions are generally as follows:

Length: Main body outdoors 2.5–6.5m (considering standard steel sizing, hoisting, and transportation structural strength, the length of a single analysis shelter should not exceed 6.5m. If the length is 6.5m, a modular structure can be used, manufactured separately and assembled on-site, or two analysis shelters can be employed).

Width: Main body outdoors 2.5m, maximum width should not exceed 3.0m (limited by road transportation width, width should not exceed 3.0m).

Height: Main body outdoors 2.5–3.0m (limited by overpass and tunnel clearance), indoor clear height 2.2–2.8m.

3. Shelter Mechanical Structure and Material Requirements

⑴ Frame, Base, and Roof

The frame, base, and roof of the analysis shelter are metal components, welded from section steel, with sufficient strength and rigidity to ensure no deformation under load, hoisting,平移, and transportation. The main frame of the base should use #12–#20 channel steel, with two #10–#12 channel steels or I-beams under the floor joists as support beams. The main frame, floor joists, and support beams should be welded to ensure the floor does not tremble when maintenance personnel walk indoors. The roof border and main beams should use #10–#12 channel steel, with #8–#10 channel steel in the width direction as main beams and roof joist supports, all welded to prevent twisting deformation. The roof should have a certain slope, at least 4%, either A-shaped or single-slope structure; flat roofs are not allowed to prevent rainwater accumulation.

⑵ Inner and Outer Wall Panels and Inner and Outer Roof Panels

Outer wall panels should be made of 1.5mm–2.0mm steel plates, using a ∏-type panel assembly structure to form the outer wall. If welding工藝 can be guaranteed, ribbed galvanized steel plate welded structures can also be used for the outer wall. For ∏-type panel assembly structure outer wall panels, stainless steel plates (304SS, recommended brushed film-coated stainless steel plates) should be used, or galvanized steel plates can be used. If galvanized steel plates are used, surface spraying treatment is required, with噴涂 color white or international gray.

Inner wall panels and ceiling should be made of 1.5mm–2.0mm steel plates. Er Gong electrical shelter materials use galvanized steel plates or cold-rolled steel plates, or stainless steel plates according to user requirements. If galvanized steel plates or cold-rolled plates are used, surface spraying treatment is required: ceiling with white glossy paint, inner wall panels with white matte paint. The roof panel must have effective rainproof design, using either buckle-structure assembled rainproof design or flat welded rainproof design. Materials should be made of 1.5mm–2.0mm stainless steel plates to ensure long-term corrosion resistance of the roof surface. The external roof load-bearing capacity should be ≥250kg/m2 (weight of two people) without permanent deformation.

⑶ Insulation Layer

Flame-retardant insulation material (mineral wool, etc.) is filled between the inner and outer walls and inner and outer roof, with insulation thickness generally 70–75mm (3in), increased to 80–85mm in extremely cold or hot areas.

⑷ Floor

The floor should be anti-slip metal plates, preferably made of 4–6mm steel plates. Materials can include patterned stainless steel plates, patterned galvanized steel plates, or hot-rolled steel plates according to user requirements. If galvanized steel plates or hot-rolled plates are used, surface spraying treatment is required, generally gray in color. An anti-static plastic plate can be added if necessary.

Avoid dead corners and grooves inside the shelter that could accumulate gas. Suitable manual or automatic exhaust ports should be installed at high and low points of the shelter to prevent gas accumulation. The sample pretreatment unit, carrier gas cylinders, standard gas cylinders, and laboratory manual analysis sampling points should be located outside the shelter.

4. Shelter Power Distribution

Public equipment such as lighting, ventilation fans, air conditioning, and maintenance sockets in the analysis shelter are powered by industrial electricity.

5. Safety Detection and Alarm System of the Analysis Shelter

Combustible gas detectors should use integrated structure products with detection probes and signal transmitters. Toxic gas detectors are required when the sample or surrounding environment contains toxic components, with requirements similar to combustible gas detection alarms.

Differential pressure transmitters are installed based on the internal volume of the analysis shelter to detect the positive pressure inside. The principle for signals provided by differential pressure transmitters to the PLC controller is 2 out of 3 selection. That is, the PLC cuts off power to non-explosion-proof electrical equipment in the shelter only if, out of 3 differential pressure transmitters, 2 or more simultaneously indicate pressure below the safety規(guī)定 value. Audible and visual alarm devices, sirens, and warning lights (rotating flashing type) are installed outside the shelter. The explosion-proof alarm control box contains a small programmable logic controller (PLC or processor), with various indicator lights and buttons on the panel. Its function is to control the safety detection and alarm system,實(shí)現(xiàn) on-site alarm (inside and outside the shelter), control room alarm, and interlock functions (such as starting fans and opening instrument air for ventilation).
