Energy + Air Volume Cumulative Billing Method

Variable Air Volume (VAV) air conditioning systems regulate indoor temperature by adjusting the supply air volume. The Energy + Air Volume Cumulative Billing Method involves using heat meters to measure the cooling (or heating) consumption of each AHU air handling unit. Simultaneously, the VAV manager directly queries the VAV network controller via Ethernet to obtain real-time air volume and temperature data from each terminal VAV box. The VAV manager then performs real-time cumulative air volume calculations, enabling uninterrupted long-term VAV air volume accumulation. On the billing settlement date, the system automatically allocates the cooling (or heating) energy generated by the AHU air handling unit on each floor based on the proportion of cumulative air volume consumed by each VAV box during the specified settlement period relative to the total air volume of the entire floor, thereby achieving VAV air conditioning billing.
