Application Fields

Titanium diboride is one of the main raw materials for conductive evaporation boats in vacuum coating and composite ceramic materials. It can serve as a key component in multicomponent composite materials, combined with materials such as TiC, TiN, and SiC to produce various high-temperature resistant parts and functional components, including high-temperature crucibles and engine parts. It is also one of the materials used for manufacturing armor protection materials and ceramic cutting tools. It can be used to produce precision tools, wire drawing dies, extrusion molds, sandblasting nozzles, sealing elements, etc. Additionally, it serves as a cathode coating material for aluminum electrolysis cells. Due to TiB2's excellent wettability with molten aluminum, using it as a cathode coating material can reduce power consumption and extend the lifespan of aluminum electrolysis cells. When made into PTC heating ceramic materials and flexible PTC materials, it offers safety, energy efficiency, reliability, and ease of processing, making it a high-tech upgrade for various electric heating materials. It is also used in conductive ceramic materials.

Packaging and Storage

This product is vacuum-sealed and should be stored in a dry, cool environment. It should not be exposed to air for extended periods to prevent moisture absorption, which may cause agglomeration and affect dispersion performance and usage effectiveness.
