Design Purpose:

Fluorocarbon paint is currently the highest-performing coating with outstanding physical and chemical properties. Its superiority over conventional paints lies in its weather resistance, self-cleaning capability, corrosion resistance, high-temperature melting resistance, and long-term color retention. It is used for protection in steel structure bridges, concrete bridges, metal curtain wall coatings, architectural steel structures, large venues, ports, docks, and coastal marine facilities.

Compatible Primers:

Surface Treatment: The surface must be sandblasted or shot-blasted to Sa2.5 grade as per GB8923 "Rust Grades and Preparation Grades of Steel Surfaces Before Coating." Areas that do not meet pretreatment requirements should be mechanically ground to St3 grade.

Usage Instructions

1. Application methods include spraying, rolling, or brushing. Spraying is recommended for metallic flash paints. 2. Before application, the paint must be stirred until completely uniform. If skin or particles are found, filter through an 80-120 mesh sieve. 3. Fluorocarbon paint is a two-component curing type. After mixing Components A and B strictly according to the ratio, allow 10 minutes for maturation before use. 4. At 20°C, the mixture will begin to gel after 6 hours and become unusable. Prepare paint as needed to avoid waste. Seal containers after use. Do not pour unused mixed paint back into the original container. 5. Adjust the application viscosity using the company's dedicated thinner. 6. Before applying the topcoat, ensure the substrate is clean, dry, free of oil, and dust-free to avoid adhesion issues.

Application Parameters:

Application Conditions

Surface treatment requires the previous coat to be dry, clean, and uniform. Substrate temperature should be between 5°C and 50°C, at least 3°C above the dew point. Relative humidity should not exceed 85%.

Recoat Interval: Recoat interval: 1 hour for same product, 2-8 hours for other coatings. Avoid moisture before the coating is fully dry.
