Inorganic Zinc-Rich Anticorrosive Paint

Product Description:

Inorganic zinc-rich paint is a two-component primer prepared with advanced technology by adding fast-drying agents, rust stabilizers, penetrants, and additives. It provides excellent cathodic protection, features a hard film, good weather resistance, and superior anticorrosive performance. It allows for 5-10% residual rust and can withstand high temperatures up to 400°C.

Surface Preparation:

Apply to dust-free, grease-free, and dry surfaces. For new steel, surface cleanliness should be treated to Sa1 or St2 grade for direct coating. For other surfaces, ensure they are clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, and other contaminants. Remove loose rust, scale, and old paint to achieve St2 standard cleanliness. Cleaning methods include manual mechanical or high-pressure water washing. Application temperature should be above 5°C. If applying over old paint, roughen the surface.

Storage: Store in a ventilated, dry place. Shelf life is one year.

Packaging: Component A: 20kg/drum; Component B: 5kg/drum; Ratio: 4:1 (by weight).

Health and Safety:

1、During cutting or welding, use barrel ventilation masks, electrostatic masks, and portable self-priming ventilation devices for combined protection to prevent zinc oxide fumes.

2、Ensure adequate ventilation in the construction area.

Recommended Uses: Anticorrosive priming for steel structures, chemical facilities, petroleum facilities, boilers, etc. It can also serve as a heat-resistant anticorrosive primer.

Notes:

1、When using this primer, thoroughly mix the base material and stir during application to prevent uneven pigment distribution. Pot life ≤ 4 hours.

2、Theoretical spreading rate: Refers to the consumption of anticorrosive paint without considering the actual construction environment, application method, surface condition, structure, shape, surface area, etc.

3、The actual drying time of the paint film generally depends on air flow, temperature, film thickness, and number of coats, and is influenced by these factors. Therefore, pay attention to these factors during application.

4、Clean with dedicated thinner.

5、After the final topcoat is applied, allow natural curing for 7 days before putting into service. If the ambient temperature is below 10°C, extend the natural curing time appropriately.

6、Do not dilute with water or other solvents during use.
